Ultra manufactures a range of products used for the Cryogenic Cooling
of Infra-Red (IR) detectors used in guided missiles, thermal imaging detectors
installed on aircraft or vehicle platforms, and handheld missile systems.
Programmes
Ultra is actively involved with the supply of products for various programmes,
such as Eurofighter Typhoon (EFA), Harrier, Super Cobra, Hawk, & Jaguar
in missiles such as Sidewinder, ASRAAM, and IRIS-T and for ground-based
thermal imaging equipment in active service with the UK and European Armed
Forces, on equipment/programmes such as Milan-Mira, GP-TIRF, OTIS, LITE
and Challenger MBT.
Products
Products include a range of qualified High Pressure Pure Air (HPPA) bottles,
pressure relief valves, back pressure maintaining valves, solenoid valves,
filters and associated rigid pipes and hoses.
